What treatments are performed at Five25?
Within our practices, we exclusively carry out preventive treatments and gum treatments. Dental procedures such as teeth whitening, fillings, and the placement of braces are not performed in our practices.
Is the age group of 18 to 25 fully covered everywhere?
No, the treatments are not normally covered. However, our practices are currently running a pilot project that provides coverage for this age group at our practices.
Free for ages 18 to 25
For young adults aged 18 to 25, the following preventive treatments are covered under the pilot: check-ups, providing instructions, performing dental cleanings, and taking X-rays (if necessary). These treatments are part of our trial project (pilot).
Free until 18 years
All treatments for children and adolescents up to 18 years old are fully covered by the basic health insurance. This applies to both preventive treatments and dental procedures. Parents do not need to worry about additional costs for the dental care of their children up to 18 years old.
Do I need to live nearby to make an appointment?
No, you do not need to live nearby to make an appointment. Our practices are open to everyone, regardless of where you live. We welcome patients from all locations to benefit from our high-quality dental care services.
Are the costs different from other dental practices or dental hygienist practices?
No, the costs are the same throughout the Netherlands. However, the fee may vary depending on the specific treatment that is needed. For example, a teeth cleaning might be cheaper for someone with less severe gum issues compared to someone with advanced chronic gum inflammation, as different codes are used for the fees. But overall, the costs are equal for the same treatments at different practices in the Netherlands.
